               The  level  of creativity when embarking upon a new endeavor in a field ripe with choices  is very important.   Dr. Ron  Beghetto , an internationally recognized expert on creative thought and action in educational settings, stated in an interview he thinks it is “important to recognize that creative behavior is risky behavior. This is because we are not sure how our creative actions will turn out or how our creative efforts will be experienced by others.”  Creativity is a funny thing.   Since the beginning of the year we were t asked with the decision  to figure out if we wanted to work alone or with a t eam  for our portfolio.  I have gone back and forth on whether I wanted to tackle this independently or  have help from a teammate. At  first,  I thought I wanted to do this venture alone.  I planned on creating a short movie intro with the help of just my parents but after doing some team activities  I have decided to switch sides and do a magazine with a teammate.  We did two team  assignments; one was called lost at sea and the other was a social media analysis of another person in  our  class.    The first assignment was the  Lost at Sea assignment .   W e were put into groups of f our to five people and was asked to rank a list of items from most important to least  important.   In class this past week we worked on tutorials on Adobe  InDesign  and Adobe Premier Pro. In the past  I've  worked with Photoshop and various  video editing software. Because I have more experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premier  Pro,  I am going to choose th e film instead of the  magazine. The editing process in Adobe Premiere Pro  comes to me at extreme ease , I know how to  add transitions, cut and crop videos, how to zoom in on a video, how to add sound effects and/or music  and much more.
